Today we celebrated E&D Narraweenaโs 17th birthday ๐ What a truly monumental achievement! A heartfelt congratulations to Amanda and Sabrina, whose passion, dedication, and vision have shaped such a special learning community over the years ๐ We are so grateful to be part of this journey, hereโs to many more years to come!

Our Bluebirds (4โ5 years) were inspired by โThe Potato Peopleโ by Pamela Allen to create their own potato people. ๐ฅ Together, they extended their learning by planting potatoes in the garden. As they explored this experience, the children reflected on the storyโs core values of family connection, creativity, and a sense of belonging ๐ฑ๐

Last week, our Bluebirds (4โ5 years) visited Narraweena Public School to take part in their Easter Hat Parade ๐ฃ๐ฉ
The children proudly showed off their creations after a busy week constructing them. This was a wonderful opportunity to begin building early connections with the school community for our preschoolers ๐

Process art is an important part of learning in early childhood because it focuses on the experience of creating rather than the final product ๐จโจ
Through open-ended art, children explore materials, experiment with colours and textures, and express their ideas in their own unique ways. These experiences support creativity, confidence, problem solving and fine motor development.
