Hi Sydney Storytelling fans

This Saturday Sept 17th, I am performing a story at a Fringe Festival show in the Rocks, Sydney.
"Chatterbox Podcast Live will showcase Sydney’s best storytellers who will share true, life changing stories guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Each night has a different theme, with four engaging, established storytellers and two ‘wild card’ storytellers picked at random from the audience.

Come along and listen to remarkable stories at an intimate little venue nestled in the Rocks. Some of the stories will be funny, some will be gut wrenchingly tragic, some will be just plain weird.
Hosted by Andy Leonard – Actor, Writer, Singer and the former host of the Sydney Storytelling Slams for ‘The Moth’, from 2015-2020.

Don’t worry if you’re not the outgoing type who wants to tell their story! We won’t pick on the shy members of the crowd!
But … Would you like to be a ‘Chatterbox’? If you’d like to be a put your name in the barrel to be one of our wildcard storytellers!

47 George St, The Rocks. The entrance is on Playfair St. We are on the 2nd Floor, go up and tell security your name, go up the stairs (above Lola’s Cabaret Lounge), through the Art Gallery and up the stairs to the Theatre on Level 2.

I agree. The more that I teach storytelling to people who never dreamed they would stand up in front of an audience and recount a personal true story, the more I see that anyone can do it well if coached, supported and given a simple scaffold to keep them on track.
