Q: In a digital world why is word of mouth marketing still so important?

A: Although social media marketing is a must have, word of mouth is the O.G. of marketing.
It is so important not to loose sight of your clients whom regularly speak highly of you whilst you are trying to attract new ones. So many brands and companies will often see 10,000 fans more desirable than 100, however, they do not consider whether these 10,000 fans really care about their business enough to engage with it in the future.
Think about how many times one of your has friends sent you a product or service via social media with a caption somewhere along the lines of 'omg how nice does this look' or 'this was that amazing place I went to the other day which I was telling you about'; this is the digital form of word of mouth and is how the old fashioned marketing technique ties into new age media. Keep your content fresh, appealing and relevant to your brand and let the word of mouth literally speak for itself! 👄
