KGS started back week 2 of term 1 2023.

We are so lucky to share the very creative Shibori workshop space thank you Karen & Pepa for welcoming us!
This week we started on the elements and principles of Art & Design. First up, mastering the element of .
We have Dash, Jess & Maddy as our peer support leaders this year and we welcome Carl & Sophie to the KGS community.
Can’t believe we are at the end of week 3 already!
Lots of creative fun planned for this term!

First week back for term 3 last week. Our classes were all about photography. Taking portraits for our new visual diaries. Lots of shenanigans and some awesome portraits! Such clever kids 😍
We also have Billie helping out on Wednesdays and Sophie on Thursdays, our new peer support leaders. Xavier is also back this term helping out on Thursdays.
Our focus will be more on photography this term. We have a new venue, the old music room at Stanmore Public School
Classes run from 3-6pm Wednesdays & Thursdays. We have a few spots left on Wednesday if anyone is interested 🙏🙂

The sun was shining today after weeks of rain. We had a fab afternoon brain storming, fun opening circle, finishing our Picasso inspired art works and learning the “Elements of Art” our tool kit!
