🛒🥞🍓 Learning Beyond the Classroom
We took our learning into the community as our babies explored Coles as part of their journey into the world of the five senses.
Among colourful fruit displays and busy supermarket aisles, little eyes observed, little hands explored textures, little noses discovered new scents, and curious minds made connections about the foods we eat every day.
The ingredients they carefully selected later became pancakes, mini pizzas and fruit yoghurt. Through tasting, mixing, creating and sharing, children engaged all five senses while building confidence, independence and an understanding of healthy food choices.
Some of the most meaningful learning happens in everyday moments. A trip to the supermarket becomes an opportunity to explore, question and discover. A simple cooking experience becomes a chance to connect with the world through sight, smell, touch, taste and sound.
✨ Because for young children, the ordinary often holds the most extraordinary learning.

🌿 Little Explorers on the Move! 🧺✨
Our younger toddlers recently enjoyed a beautiful outdoor excursion filled with discovery and hands-on learning. From sharing a picnic together to collecting natural treasures like leaves, sticks, and stones, every moment was an opportunity to explore and grow.
As they wandered through the natural environment, the children used their senses to observe, touch, and investigate the world around them. These experiences support their curiosity, build confidence, and lay the foundation for early learning through play.
Learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom—it happens everywhere 💚

They’ve especially loved the “blue train” and “yellow train”! After a class vote, the children chose their next excursion destination… 🥁✨ Circular Quay!
Stay tuned as we get ready to embark on this exciting journey together! 💫

The children were absolutely thrilled to meet Cookie again after the Easter break! 🐇💛
They explored what bunnies love to eat—learning about fresh vegetables, leafy greens, and how different foods help keep animals healthy. 🥕🌿
Our little learners also took on the responsibility of helping to care for Cookie, developing their sense of empathy, responsibility, and respect for living things.
Moments like these turn curiosity into meaningful learning experiences—full of wonder, care, and connection. 🌱💫
