How sweet was the mud kitchen that was transformed into the Olympic village cafe? The dramatic play with natural resources was fantastic.

We are looking for a Kitchen Hand at Pymble 2 days per week.

If our community is aware of anyone with a passion for children's health & nutrition, who might be looking to join a team of talented and supportive women, we'd love to meet them!

The meals are completely catered for, the kitchen hand will be responsible for heating meals, cutting fruit and snacks, preparing the trolleys for each classroom and maintaining a clean kitchen.

It’s such a privilege to be able to support the incredible work of the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter. The team there do an inspiring job of supporting the community. We were so pleased that a week at Gidget’s (our team holiday home) was auctioned off twice this year to raise funds for the Shelter 👏💛

Today at Billy Kids we hosted Ranger Natalie from St Ives Wildflower Garden and a few of her good friends - Bernie the Bearded Dragon, Tiny the Eastern Long-necked Turtle and Pebbles the Spotted Python. Our children showed beautiful empathy, care and fascination towards these gorgeous native animals. They also showed off their quickly developing comprehension skills, listening to Ranger Natalie with interest and attention.

Some children showed their bravery by giving the animals a gentle pat, and some showed their bravery by politely saying “No, thank you” and just waving hello when offered the opportunity to pat them.

We watched Tiny have a wander around and then have a swim. We watched him eat some whitebait for his lunch. We all decided we prefer people food!

We noticed Pebbles poking her tongue out to taste the air. A few children poking their tongues out too!

Ranger Natalie even taught us how to make bush soap by tearing the leaves of a Sydney Golden Wattle and rubbing them in our hands with a little water. 🥾🫧🐍🐢🦎
