Such an amazing couple of days delivering the Our Culture Our Future holiday program on the southern end of the NSW Central Coast. This program was for Aboriginal girls ages 9-12 to connect, engage in cultural practices and wellbeing activities. Huge thanks to NSW Aboriginal Affairs for making this event possible, to Koorana AECG thank you for backing and supporting this event, big thanks to amazing local weaver Vicki Gale, our amazing co facilitators Kylie and Bianca, and the inspiring Kylie Captain for her incredible session. Our boy Wilaaran’s book is on sale now!!

So excited to introduce this NEW book! It is authored by 12 year old Wilaaran, the son of Belinda from Freshwater Education!

At the very heart of the story is a family outing, demonstrating how generations come together to teach and share knowledge, such as the practice of gathering pippies. This reinforces the importance of intergenerational learning and the passing down of cultural wisdom.
