Special Event Elder Uncle Darrell visited our centre

We welcomed Uncle Darrell to our centre to help us create a handprint mural as part of Harmony Week. The children were eager and excited to participate in this meaningful experience. It brought us together, fostering a sense of unity and helping the children understand that we are all part of a diverse community and nation, and that each of us has important values to contribute.

Our mural will be displayed around the centre for everyone to observe and reflect on this special moment shared with the children.

🌟 Staff Training Spotlight 🌟

Monday night the team at Goodstart Fairfield Heights had the pleasure of welcoming Stephanie from Olive Tree Therapy to our centre. Stephanie delivered an insightful and practical training session focused on supporting children with sensory processing needs.
Our educators gained valuable strategies and tools that we can use every day to better understand, support, and respond to the individual sensory needs of the children in our care. Stephanie also introduced us to a range of practical resources that can be used within the learning environment to help children regulate, engage, and feel supported.
We’re always committed to learning, growing, and providing the best possible environment for our children, and this training was a wonderful step in that journey.
