On Wednesday 5th August 2026, Madison (current DLC first-year) and Ayva (DLC alumna) attended the Broken Hill Careers Expo, alongside the Macquarie University Outreach team, to encourage prospective rural students to consider Macquarie University and Dunmore Lang College as their next career move post-exams. 🎓💙🏡

I saw people’s faces light up when they realised how achievable and accessible living and studying in Sydney can be with the help of DLC! ✨ Showing the students photos of our events, spaces and my lifelong friends from Dunmore Lang College felt like a full circle moment.” 🏡📸

Meet Ryan and Lachie, the duo helping to keep sport at DLC bigger and better throughout 2026! 💙🏆

From social sport competitions to inter-college gala days, our Sports Committee helps residents get involved, stay active and connect with students across the DLC and Macquarie University community. 🙌✨

After loving everything sport had to offer during their first year at DLC, Ryan and Lachie stepped into leadership roles to help create those same experiences for other residents. 🤝🎽

And there’s plenty still to come! 👀 With a record number of DLC teams competing in MQ social sport this semester, plus upcoming soccer, netball and volleyball inter-college events, Semester 2 is looking action-packed! 🏓⚽️🏐🔥
