Why aren’t healthy relationships taught in school?
Everywhere we look it’s some form of relationship…
If you weren’t surrounded in a nucleus of healthy relationships it’s a journey to figure out what’s healthy what is not.
If abuse was your normal, it’s easy to go from one abusive type of relationship to another because that’s all they know.
If you have never been introduced to boundaries because as a child making sure the adults were fine and making sure they’re okay and also if they reinforce that you shouldn’t have your needs being met constantly - it’s a hard battle as a kid when your essential needs such as food, shelter, water, clothing….
So be gentle on yourself 🙏🥰🫶🏽
