🔬✨ Science Week at Acorn! ✨🔬
What an exciting week of discovery, curiosity and hands-on learning we have had at Acorn! 🌈🧪
Our little scientists had the opportunity to explore, investigate, make predictions and discover how things work through a range of fun and engaging experiments.
🧪 Oil & Water Fireworks – exploring colours, reactions and how oil and water interact.
🥛🎨 Milk & Colour Magic – exploring what happens when colourful food dye meets milk and observing the fascinating movement of colours.
🎈 Self-Inflating Balloons – discovering how different materials can create a reaction that fills a balloon!
🌈 Skittles Colour Run – watching beautiful colours spread and mix together to create amazing patterns.
🎈 Static Balloons – investigating static electricity through lots of fun and curiosity.
💧 Sinking & Floating – making predictions and testing which objects would sink or float.
🎨 Sensory Paint Bags – exploring colours, textures and movement through a hands-on sensory experience.
Throughout the week, the children were encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, observe changes and share their ideas. Most importantly, they had so much fun learning through play! 💡🔍
At Acorn, we love nurturing children's natural curiosity and encouraging them to become confident little investigators. 🌱💛
