Dr. Yeow-Tong Chia is Senior Lecturer in History Curriculum Education in the Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney.

He is also the President of the Malaysia and Singapore Society of Australia.

It was an honour and a privilege to meet Professor Gungwu Wang AO again, and to hear his invaluable insights on history, civilisation, and culture. My sincere thanks to Professor Wang for taking the time to meet and for graciously autographing two of his recent books. I hope to have the opportunity to meet him again, and I wish him continued good health and happiness.
