At Dulwich Hill Childcare Centre, our children enjoyed celebrating Lunar New Year through a variety of meaningful cultural experiences.

We had a very special visit from our friends at The TLC Dentist in Earlwood. The Tooth Fairy herself came to share all things tooth care, from brushing tips to why looking after our smiles is so important.

🪴🪳 Meet Our New Leaf Insect Friends! 🪳🪴

Our curious 3-4 year old Wombat children have been busy welcoming some very special new residents to the centre…leaf insects!

These fascinating mini beasts were kindly donated by one of our wonderful families and they’ve quickly become the stars of our learning space. The Wombats’ have been exploring their habitats, diets and unique lifestyles - all while getting up close and personal with their leafy new friends.

It’s been a wonderful hands-on experience that’s sparked curiosity, conversation and a love for the incredible world of insects. 🌿

This week at Dulwich Hill Childcare Centre, our 2–3-year-olds engaged in a delightful nature walk as part of Nature Play Week 2025. They explored the outdoors, collected leaves, discovered new flowers, and connected with our local community. These experiences nurture curiosity, foster a love for nature, and strengthen community bonds. 🌿🌼

CPR | Annual Training

Keeping our little ones safe starts with us!
Our amazing team at Dulwich Hill Childcare Centre recently completed our CPR and first aid training. Regular training like this ensures we’re always prepared and confident to handle emergencies with care and professionalism.

Residents from Bupa Ashbury recently visited DHCC, bringing joy and wisdom to the children through shared stories and activities. These intergenerational connections enrich both young and old, fostering a vibrant community spirit.

🍕🥦 Children of DHCC celebrated Veggie Month by crafting delicious veggie pizzas and engaging in fun vegetable-themed learning activities! 🥕📚

Through hands-on cooking experiences, our children explored new flavors, enhanced their fine motor skills and learned about the importance of healthy eating. Cooking together not only fosters creativity but also builds confidence and promotes teamwork among our little chefs.

By involving children in preparing and enjoying nutritious meals, we aim to instill lifelong healthy eating habits
