Natures Recyclers

Our 3–5 year old children loved exploring the wonderful world of worms. Through hands-on learning, our children discovered how worms help the soil and environment while showing lots of curiosity and excitement.

DHCC Cooking Class

Our little chefs enjoyed making a healthy Apple Crumble. Through measuring, mixing and preparing ingredients, our children explored early numeracy, fine motor skills, teamwork and healthy eating while having lots of fun!

S T E M | Dinosaur Volcano Exploration

Our children explored a dinosaur volcano sensory tray, observing cause and effect through hands-on scientific investigation. They made predictions, shared ideas and used their imagination while exploring the prehistoric landscape 🦖 🌋

NAIDOC WEEK 2026

Meaningful learning begins with meaningful opportunities.

At Dulwich Hill Childcare Centre, our children have been exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through hands-on sensory play, natural materials and creative experiences, fostering curiosity, respect and a deeper connection to Country during our NAIDOC Week celebrations.

🐜 Exploring the incredible world of insects!

Our Preschool children used loose parts and clay to create their own insects, encouraging creativity, problem-solving and imaginative thinking. The magnifying glasses sparked plenty of curiosity as our children observed and discussed the features of their creations and their insects 🌿🔎
