Today at WillowBee was all about celebrating the incredible mums, grandmothers and special women in our children’s lives 💐🤍

From our beautiful coffee cart and delicious breakfast treats, to hands-on experiences with our planting station, keyring making station and cooking activity, the morning was filled with smiles, laughter and so much love.

Families also had the chance to enter our Mother’s Day hamper giveaways 🎁 and what a joy it was seeing everyone come together to celebrate.

Thank you to all of our wonderful WillowBee families for sharing such a special morning with us. We hope every mum felt loved, appreciated and celebrated today — because you truly deserve it 🌸

🐍🦎 Reptile Day at WillowBee! 🐸🐊

From slithering snakes to curious lizards, bumpy frogs and even a (very exciting!) crocodile visit — today was one for the books!

The children were completely captivated… watching, learning, asking questions and (very bravely!) getting up close with some incredible creatures.

Moments like these are what learning is all about — hands-on, a little bit wild, and full of wonder 🌿✨

Safe to say… the kids had an absolute ball! 💛

This week our WillowBee team attended a Professional Development Conference — because at WillowBee, learning doesn’t stop with the children… it starts with us. 🐝💛

At WillowBee, we’re passionate about giving our Senior Preschool children the strongest start to their learning journey 💛

That’s why we’ve introduced PreLit, an evidence-based early literacy program developed by MultiLit, alongside our comprehensive School Readiness curriculum.

Through play, games and hands-on learning, children build the foundations needed for reading and writing success — without pressure, worksheets or “sit and drill” learning ✨

🇦🇺 Australia Day at WillowBee 🐝

On Australia Day, the children celebrated with a picnic and enjoyed baking traditional bush damper with wattleseed 🌾
Through hands-on learning, they explored native ingredients and connected with Australia’s land, culture, and history 🖤💛❤️

A beautiful day of learning, belonging, and community 💛

As the year comes to an end, I just want to say thank you to one of the most incredible teams in education. 🤍

The dedication, passion, and genuine love for children that I have witnessed this year is truly incomparable. We laughed, we worked hard, we celebrated, we enjoyed our Christmas lunch, our motivation activities, and honestly — we had an absolute blast.

Our team grew, our families grew, and what a year it has been. Being showered with gifts and heartfelt thank-yous from families is such a beautiful reminder of the impact you make every single day — that appreciation does not go unnoticed.

And to my team… you completely surprised me. The gorgeous gift and the beautiful card filled with personal messages truly made me cry and reminded me how proud I am to be part of this extraordinary group of educators.

🌟 Junkyard Beats Incursion at WillowBee! 🌟

Today we had the most incredible incursion with Junkyard Beats and wow… the children absolutely LOVED it! 🎶✨

We explored sustainability, learnt how to reuse everyday items, and discovered that music can be made from almost anything! From buckets to tins to repurposed household items — our little musicians turned them into instruments and created the best beats! We made our very own MUSICAL WALL 🥁💚

The highlight of the day…
👉 Forming our very own WillowBee band
👉 Creating a giant musical wall using recycled materials
👉 Learning how to care for our planet through play and creativity

The excitement, the rhythm, the teamwork — it was just magic. 🌍💛

🌍 MULTICULTURAL DAY AT WILLOWBEE 🌍
This was one of the most beautiful days at our centre as we celebrated the rich diversity within our WillowBee community! 💛✨

Our children came dressed in the most incredible traditional outfits, proudly representing their cultures, stories and heritage. From vibrant colours to special accessories, every outfit told a story — and our rooms were glowing with pride, joy and connection. 🧡👘🕌🇮🇳🇨🇳🇫🇷

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing families who joined us today. Parents shared presentations, stories, traditions and fun facts about their heritage — giving our children such a special opportunity to learn about the world and appreciate the beauty of different cultures. 🌎📖

At WillowBee, we celebrate belonging, identity and community — and today reminded us just how lucky we are to be surrounded by families from all around the world. 🌼

🌼 WILLOWBEE’S WILDFLOWER ADVENTURE! 🌼

Our little explorers hopped on a private safari-style bus and headed off to the Wildflower Garden for a day full of discovery and wonder! 🦎🌸

From guided bush walks searching for unique native flora to meeting some of the garden’s special animal friends, the children were immersed in nature’s magic. 🌿🐍🦋

They also took part in an exciting recycling challenge, using repurposed materials to build creative lizard houses — blending sustainability, imagination, and teamwork! ♻️💚

What a beautiful day of learning, laughter, and adventure with our WillowBee community. 🌻
