What a beautiful afternoon celebrating all the amazing dads, grandads and special people in our WillowBee community! 🐝✨

We enjoyed a delicious Father’s Day sausage sizzle and afternoon tea, followed by a fun-packed afternoon of activities, laughter and special moments with our children. 🌭🍰🎨

There’s nothing better than seeing our families come together, spending quality time with the children and creating memories they’ll treasure. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. We hope all our wonderful dads and special people felt very loved and appreciated! 🥰

Who says Book Week is just for the children? 😂🐝

Our WillowBee team absolutely loves getting involved in the fun! There’s nothing better than dressing up, being a little silly and seeing the children’s faces light up when their educators arrive as some of their favourite characters. 💛

We love creating those moments that make our children laugh, smile and wonder what we’re going to do next! 🌈📖

Because childhood should be filled with imagination, laughter and a little bit of magic. ✨

🔬🐞 SCIENCE WEEK AT WILLOWBEE! 🌿🔎

Our little scientists have been busy exploring, investigating and creating for National Science Week!

This week, our children became mini entomologists, designing and building their very own bug habitats using natural and recycled materials. 🍃🪵🐛 From collecting leaves, sticks and bark to thinking about what insects need to feel safe and thrive, every habitat was created with curiosity and care.

Through this hands-on project, our WillowBee scientists explored biodiversity, habitats, sustainability and the important role bugs play in our environment — all while asking questions, making predictions and sharing their ideas. 💭🔬

At WillowBee, we believe science begins with curiosity, wonder and the freedom to explore. 🌱✨

🐄🌿 Kindi Farm came to WillowBee!

What a fantastic day our children had welcoming Kindi Farm to WillowBee Early Learning! They had the opportunity to meet a beautiful baby calf, along with a variety of friendly farm animals, learning all about where they live, what they eat, and how to care for them.

The highlight of the day was getting up close to the animals and helping to feed them. These hands-on experiences encourage curiosity, compassion, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

There were so many smiles, gentle hands, and unforgettable moments as our little learners explored, asked questions, and connected with the animals.

🌿🖤💛❤️ This week, we proudly celebrate NAIDOC Week — a time to recognise, honour and celebrate the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to acknowledge the strength of the world’s oldest continuing living cultures.

As part of our celebrations, our children were honoured to take part in a beautiful cultural experience with the Little Joeys Program from Aboriginal Incursions.

Through traditional song, dance, storytelling and interactive performances, the children explored Aboriginal culture, learned about the importance of Country, and discovered traditions that have been shared and preserved for tens of thousands of years. The experience encouraged curiosity, respect, inclusion and a deeper appreciation for the First Peoples of Australia.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team from Aboriginal Incursions for sharing your knowledge, stories and traditions with our children and educators. It was a truly memorable and meaningful experience for our WillowBee community.

📚🚌 Our Senior Preschool Adventure to the NSW State Library! ✨

Our Senior Preschool children hopped aboard a private bus and headed into the city for a very special excursion to the NSW State Library! 🚍💛

The children explored the imaginative and curious works of Pamela Allen, one of Australia’s most beloved children’s authors and illustrators. Through interactive storytelling, vibrant illustrations, and hands-on experiences, they discovered how stories can inspire creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading. 📖🎨

Excursions like these provide meaningful opportunities for children to connect with the wider community, develop confidence in new environments, and extend their learning beyond the classroom. It was wonderful to see their excitement as they engaged with literature in such a special setting.

A big thank you to the wonderful staff at the State Library for creating such a memorable experience. We can’t wait for our next adventure! 💚

Today at WillowBee was all about celebrating the incredible mums, grandmothers and special women in our children’s lives 💐🤍

From our beautiful coffee cart and delicious breakfast treats, to hands-on experiences with our planting station, keyring making station and cooking activity, the morning was filled with smiles, laughter and so much love.

Families also had the chance to enter our Mother’s Day hamper giveaways 🎁 and what a joy it was seeing everyone come together to celebrate.

Thank you to all of our wonderful WillowBee families for sharing such a special morning with us. We hope every mum felt loved, appreciated and celebrated today — because you truly deserve it 🌸

🐍🦎 Reptile Day at WillowBee! 🐸🐊

From slithering snakes to curious lizards, bumpy frogs and even a (very exciting!) crocodile visit — today was one for the books!

The children were completely captivated… watching, learning, asking questions and (very bravely!) getting up close with some incredible creatures.

Moments like these are what learning is all about — hands-on, a little bit wild, and full of wonder 🌿✨

Safe to say… the kids had an absolute ball! 💛
