CELEBRATING HOLI

The children enjoyed taking part in Holi, with colourful experiences while learning about this beautiful Indian celebration.

Holi is all about joy, love, togetherness and welcoming new beginnings. Such a lovely way for us to celebrate culture and diversity together !

Monash Preschool and Early Learning is wishing our children, families, and educators a joyful, safe, and restful Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We hope its filled with laughter, love, and cozy moments!

Harvest day!

The children picked potatoes, lettuce, spinach, and spring onions from our organic garden. They showed that they are responsible and care for nature.

Huge thanks to Ms Tracy and our little gardeners for helping our patch thrive.

CALMING YOGA

At Monash Preschool & Early Learning, we believe mindful movement builds focus and self-regulation.

The little ones slipped off our shoes and followed along with simple yoga poses. Through their curiosity, calmness, and engagement, the fresh air and quiet space helped the children breathe, balance, and try their best with each movement.

A peaceful start to the day and a lovely way to strengthen bodies, settle minds, and practise listening.

Today is Diwali, the Festival of Lights, celebrating the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

For Science Week, the children became little scientists, exploring cause and effect through hands-on experiments! 🧪✨

At Monash Preschool and Early Learning, we believe these activities spark curiosity, problem-solving, and a love for discovery.

The children mixed liquids, created goo, and observed changes in materials. We learnt that science is all about asking questions and exploring the world around us!

Our learning spotlight turned to winter! ❄️ Have have been exploring what winter feels like and how we stay warm. The children shared ideas, asked questions, and dove into pretend play and sensory experiences inspired by the chilly season. We’ll continue to compare winter with spring, summer, and autumn to build a deeper understanding of the world around us
