Kindaburra is a family-owned Early Learning Centre and Pre-School, providing care and education for children from birth to 6 years since 1999.

We’re open Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 6:30pm. Enrolments are now open. Call 0415 128 822 to book a tour Kindaburra is a family owned and operated early learning centre and preschool in Matraville that has been active for 20 years. We cater for children from birth to 6 years and currently have vacancies available. Visit our website for more information.

🏀✨ Ball play in our Baby Room!

Our Koala and Possum babies had lots of fun exploring balls as they pushed them through our numbered ball net! The children experimented with placing, pushing and watching the balls fall through, eager to repeat the experience again and again. 💛

This playful experience supported hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, cause and effect, and early problem-solving through hands-on exploration.

💜 Walking for WAGEC 💜

This Sunday, our directors daughter Bridget, a former Kindaburra student and staff member, will be taking part in the Walk for WAGEC at Centennial Park.

WAGEC (Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre) supports women and children impacted by domestic and family violence, helping them access safe accommodation and vital support services.

We’re very proud to support Bridget as she walks to raise funds for such an important cause. 💕

🌼💛 Hello Spring! 🌿✨

Our dingo preschoolers welcomed the start of spring by creating their own beautiful wattle paintings, celebrating the new season through colour, creativity and a little piece of Australian nature! 🎨🌼

📚Book Week 2026 at Kindaburra! 📚

What a wonderful week celebrating the magic of books, stories and imagination! 🌈 This years theme, “Symphony of Stories,” saw our children exploring some of their favourite books through storytelling, creative experience, play and of course, sone amazing dress-ups!

A big thankyou to all our wonderful families for getting in involved and helping us bring Book Week to life! 💛

🚜🌿 Cruising through the bush playground!

Our Joey and Kangaroo toddlers had lots of fun taking trucks for a drive along a dirt road created by their educator in our bush playground! The children cruised along the path, navigating the bumps and turns while enjoying the freedom of outdoor play! 🛻💨

We love having such a large, natural environment where our children can explore, move, imagine and learn through play every day! 🌳💚

🌱💚 Caring for our veggie patch! 🥬

Our Joey and Kangaroo toddlers love helping to care for our veggie garden! From regularly watering the plants to checking on their growth, the children are learning what plants need to grow and developing a sense of responsibility for their environment. 🌿

The best part is watching our garden grow and then using what we've harvested in our activities and cooking experiences! 🥗✨

🧊🐠 Frozen ocean rescue in the Kookaburra Preschool!

Our Kookaburra preschoolers explored ocean creatures through a fun frozen rescue experience! The children worked together to free the sea animals trapped inside the ice, experimenting with different ways to help the ice melt! 🦀🐙

This hands-on experience encouraged problem-solving, curiosity and early scientific thinking, while learning more about the wonderful creatures that live in our oceans! 💙

🧪🔬 Science Week at Kindaburra! 🚀

Our whole centre was very busy celebrating National Science Week, with children across Kindaburra getting involved in a variety of exciting hands-on experiences!

From balloon rockets 🚀, magic milk 🌈, LEGO robotics 🤖, and running rainbows, to exploring space 🪐, getting messy with experiments and welcoming special parents visitors to teach us about science and what it’s like to work in a laboratory! 🥼🔬

It’s a wonderful week filled with curiosity, discovery, experimenting and plenty of “WOW” moments! 💡💛
