This year, we are proudly βAll Inβ at Kindaburra as we celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2026! πΏ
Across all room, the children explored this yearβs theme through painting, Aboriginal symbols, music and dance, story telling, creating their own βAll Inβ hands and designing their posters to celebrate kindness, inclusion and belonging!
Through these experiences, the children have been learning about respect, community, caring for Country and the rich culture of Aboriginal peoples!

Through stories, art, discussions and play-based experiences, we aim to create opportunities for children to learn about Australiaβs shared history and the importance of caring for Country, community and each other.

ππ Koala and Possum babies exploring Earth Day! β¨
The other week, our babies celebrated Earth Day by creating their own little Earths using blue and green paper along with sticky contact paper πΏ The children enjoyed exploring different textures and colours while engaging in a hands-on creative experience.
Through this activity, the babies explored sensory play, fine motor skills and early awareness of the world around them ππ
ππ’ Dingos growing their maths knowledge through UNO! β¨
Our Dingo preschoolers have been using UNO as part of their learning through play experiences to help strengthen their early maths skills. Through the game, the children practised number recognition, colour matching, counting, problem solving and turn-taking while building confidence in a fun and engaging way π
With lots of excitement and friendly competition, the Dingos have been loving learning together through games! π¨β¨

π¦πΊ ANZAC Day Learning at Kindaburra πΊ
During our ANZAC Day exploration, we were lucky to have one of our wonderful army families visit the centre to share more about this special day β€οΈ
Mum and Dad, who both serve in the army, shared photos and stories about their familyβs army history and explained why ANZAC Day is such an important time for remembrance and gratitude. The children also learned about the importance of being kind and looking after our mates β just like the soldiers did πͺβ¨
The preschoolers even had the opportunity to try on some army gear, including helmets, making the experience extra exciting and hands-on!
A very special and meaningful learning experience for our preschoolers πΊ
