Hello Sydney families! I’m Andy – a passionate primary school teacher and maths tutor with over 10 years of experience helping children build confidence and thrive in the classroom.

After recently relocating from England, I’m excited to bring my calm, encouraging, and results-driven approach to the local community here in Sydney. Whether your child finds maths a bit tricky or just needs a boost with homework and exam prep, I’m here to help them feel capable, confident, and ready to succeed.

My Top 5 Tips When Taking Tests

1. Read each question twice (once before and once after you write your answer).

2. Underline/ circle key parts of information in the question.

3. Show any working out clearly and neatly (this includes number/ letter formation).

4. Don't waste time on a question that has you scratching your head, move on and come back to it if you have time at the end.

5. Check you have answered all of the questions in the booklet (it is very easy to miss a page or two...trust me).

Most importantly stay positive and remember to do your best, that is all anyone can ask :)
