The chicks will be leaving us tomorrow and going back to the farm. The 2 types of chicks are laying chickens, which means they aren't used for their meat. They are not battery hens and are not subject to any unethical treatment. Many will stay at the farm to continue the incubation program for childcare's, schools and preschools and others are sold to a baby animal farms
