Kradle 2 Krayons Child Care and Early Learning Centre Penrith

Kradle 2 Krayons Long Day Care Centre provides the best care for Kids in the town. Care to the Core! We follow the Early Years learning framework NSW program.

The kradle2krayons team has extensive knowledge of Early Childhood development. We believed that a good learning environment is necessary for a child’s development .Our services are developed for multi-cultural and anti-biased environment for all children and families. Children with special needs will be involved in all aspects of the daily routine. At kradle2krayons we keep records for each child in the form of written observations, photos and examples of work. All the information you provide us is privately kept. Our programs aims at developing problem solving skills, build on social skills, introduce structured literacy skills (talking, listening, reading and writing), and develop extensive foundation numeracy skills. We also teach our children to take responsibility for their belongings, to help care for their classroom, to ask for assistance when required, and to independently deal with conflict with their peers. Our qualified educators use observations, anecdotal records and input from families to develop individual planning for your child. We work with you in preparing your child for the transition to school and will give you guidance and advice as you and your child reach this new milestone.

What a wonderful Father’s Day celebration we had at Kradle 2 Krayons on Thursday! 🎉

We loved welcoming all of our amazing dads, grandads, father figures and special loved ones into our centre to spend some quality time with their little ones.
From smiles and cuddles to special activities and precious moments together, it was a beautiful reminder that the best memories are built together!

A huge thank you to all of our families who joined us and helped make the day so special. We hope you enjoyed celebrating just as much as we did!

Today, we took a moment to celebrate and recognise the incredible educators who make such a difference in the lives of our children every single day.

Our educators bring love, patience, creativity, kindness and dedication into everything they do. From the big milestones to the little everyday moments, they nurture, encourage, comfort, teach and support each child as they learn and grow.

Today we celebrated with a yummy shared Thai lunch, read the family feedback wall, enjoyed gifts and each others company!

💛 Camp Quality Cancer Education Program
Today, our Kirrawee children had a very special visit from Camp Quality Australia with the wonderful Katherine and Ross and their puppets! 🎭
Through an engaging and age-appropriate puppet show, the children were introduced to the topic of Cancer in a gentle and positive way.

The puppets helped the children understand that sometimes people who are unwell may experience changes such as not feeling their best, losing their appetite or losing their hair- and that these changes do not make someone any different or any less special.

Most importantly, the program encouraged our children to talk about kindness, understanding and inclusion. We explored how we can support someone who is unwell by being kind, caring and treating them just like everyone else.

It was a wonderful opportunity to help our children begin developing an understanding of cancer and the experiences some children and families may go through, while reinforcing the important message that kindness, empathy and friendship can make a big difference. 🫶✨

A huge thank you to Camp Quality Australia, Katherine and Ross for visiting us today and helping our children learn such an important message in a way that was fun, meaningful and easy for them to understand.

DAY 5!

What a magical way to finish off an incredible week of Book Week celebrations! 💕📖

Today our centre was filled with some very special characters, including

Our children (and educators!) have had so much fun dressing up, sharing their favourite characters and bringing the magic of books to life throughout the week. 🥰

📚✨ BOOK WEEK 2026
DAYS 1 & 2!

What an incredible start to Book Week!
We’ve already had SO many wonderful book characters come to life throughout the centre! 🥰📖

Over the first two days, we’ve welcomed some very special visitors, including:

🎸 The Wiggles
🤠 Woody & Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story
🕷️ Spider-Man
🐞 Adorable ladybugs
❄️ Elsa
…and so many more! 💕✨

Our educators, children and families have gone all out with their costumes, creating a magical celebration of books, imagination and storytelling! 🌈📚

We can’t wait to see which characters appear next! 👀

🥞✨ WELLNESS WEDNESDAY – PANCAKE STATION! ✨🥞

A little something sweet to start the day!

This Wellness Wednesday, we treated our amazing team to a DIY Pancake Station where everyone could create their own delicious breakfast with all the toppings! 🍓🍌🫐

From fresh fruit and maple syrup to sprinkles and all the yummy extras, there was something for everyone to enjoy! 😋

Because looking after the children starts with looking after ourselves too. 💕
Taking a moment to pause, enjoy some food, connect with our team and recharge can make all the difference.

🌿 AROUND THE CENTRE 🌿

It’s been a busy day of exploring, creating and learning at Kradle 2 Krayons! 💛

Our children enjoyed a variety of hands-on experiences throughout the classrooms, from building and experimenting with magnetic tiles, to developing colour recognition and matching skills using paddle pop sticks and coloured balls. 🎨🧩

We also got creative with a natural materials collage and explored early science concepts through our sink or float fruit experiment! 🍎🍊

So many opportunities to learn, discover, create and have fun through play! ✨

👖💙 JEANS FOR GENES DAY 2026 💙👖

Today, our Kradle 2 Krayons Penrith children and educators got involved in Jeans for Genes Day! 🧬💙

We got creative and celebrated the day by wearing denim, designing and decorating our very own jeans, and creating hand-printed jeans! 🎨👖✨

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to get creative while learning about the importance and raising awareness for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

A big thank you to our wonderful educators and children for getting involved, getting creative and showing their support! 👖💙
