Today marked the final visit of our SRC students at Campbell House with their literacy buddies from Glenwood PS for Term 2!

Our students enjoyed reading with their younger friends and helped them work through a fun cloze passage worksheet about frogs. The interaction was respectful and positive all around.

One of our CHS students shared some wise advice with a younger student: "We come to school to learn, not use our phones."

We’re so proud of the meaningful connections and great learning happening between our schools! Looking forward to more great moments next term

On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, our Campbell House SRC students had their second wonderful visit to Glenwood PS. They listened to the K/1 students read with great enthusiasm and then shared their amazing art portfolios!

Our CHS students inspired the younger Glenwood PS students to get creative and write a sentence with their support – what a fantastic way to build confidence and creativity together!

We’re so proud of our students for being such great mentors and role models.

During our Boys and Girls Group this week, students took part in an engaging session on the basic guide to cars 🚘.

They learned about essential car maintenance, including checking oil and tyres, changing wiper blades, and understanding dashboard lights.

These practical skills help build confidence and independence for our young people!

Well done to everyone for getting hands-on and asking great questions

Campbell House School Student Representatives in Action!

On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, five of our dedicated Student Representative Council members visited Glenwood Public School to support their Peer Reading program. Our students had the wonderful opportunity to read with Kindergarten and Year One students, as well as listen to the younger students practice their reading skills.

This enabled both age groups to help improve their reading fluency in a supportive and friendly environment. Our CHS students showed great respect and enthusiasm, making a positive impression on Glenwood’s little learners.

We’re excited for our next visit in a couple of weeks as part of ongoing community engagement. Proud of our SRC members for being such fantastic ambassadors of Campbell House School!
