Today we welcomed Jo from the Sutherland Shire Council’s Ocean Safety and Lifeguards Team for a fun and informative surf safety session at KAZ!
The children explored important beach safety topics like packing for the beach, sun protection, recognising safe and unsafe areas, swimming between the flags, and knowing when and how to ask for help.
Thank you, Jo, for such an engaging experience. We are beach ready! 🏖️

Today, we took part in the National Simultaneous Storytime!
At 12:00 PM, children across Australia and New Zealand joined together to read The Truck Cat, by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell. This annual event, organised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), promotes the value of reading and literacy in libraries, classrooms, and communities around the country.
