Thinking about becoming a Driving Instructor in NSW?

The pathway is straightforward, but the steps need to be completed in the right order.

1️⃣ Obtain your Letter of Eligibility
Before training can begin, you must first apply directly to Transport for NSW and receive your Letter of Eligibility.

2️⃣ Enrol in your training with PVET Institute
Once your Letter of Eligibility has been issued, you can provide it to PVET Institute and commence your training.

3️⃣ Complete your nationally recognised qualification
Work towards the TLI41225 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training – Car and take the next step in the NSW driving instructor licensing process.
