The last two years have crippled my business ☹️with lockdowns for Covid the centres have been cautious about letting external teachers in and for good reason🧐

I wasn’t sure what to do 🤔I have no staff left and it’s just me left to teach 💃✋

Slowly the classes are returning and I am remembering why I started this business 13 years ago🙌

The joy 🙌dance brings to the children. The smiling 😀faces I am greeted with when I arrive at a centre. Makes it all worth while 🙏

So Thank you 😊 to all my centres that have stayed strong 💪 and supported me over the last few years. Many of you I have worked with for a long time and we have developed and grown together 🥰

Delivering 😀 smiles to children 🧒 all over Sydney 🚗

Boys and dance!! Let’s discuss this topic!! 📖

They love 🙌 it as much as the girls. But so many parents 😔 resist putting their boys into dance class.

This week, a parent of a student told me her son was never interested in music or dance. 😱

Since taking my class at his daycare every week. He is obsessed with music 🎵 and dance. As you can imagine. My heart ❤️ is smiling 😀.

My aim when I created this program was to give children a passion 🙏 for music 🎵 and dance that they will carry with them throughout their lives. “ well you have achieved that” she told me. 😁

Feeling proud 😌of this achievement, I thought I would let everyone know that boys love dance and music as much as girls 👏and 🙌let’s allow them to enjoy this amazing skill as well!! ✌️

Kick starting Term 1 of dance for 2021!🦶💪

During the last lockdown, to be honest I had lost hope of ever getting back to my students. 😭

But this week we are back as scheduled and it feels good. 😍

Got to admit......I’m feeling tired today and feeling 41 years young🙌

But the cute smiling faces in class today and my rock star ⭐️ cheering as I arrived was enough to see me through!!

I had a very big break from social media over the summer😎. Which I really enjoyed. But now I am back. 👍

I love 💓 setting up my class next to the 🎹 piano 😆

It brings back so many memories.........☺️

I remember singing along at my daycare to the piano 🎹 and my grandfather 👴 used to play and sing 🎤 along when I was little🥰

But the best memory is of having a live pianist for every ballet 🩰 class at my professional dance training it was such a thrill to dance 💃to live music for every class. That was a long time ago now. 😐

Feeling the love 💓 today from all my beautiful families. 🙌

As I send emails with the news that some of our centres will not be returning to dance classes until 2021. The responses have literally made me cry. 😢

Beautiful messages of how much their children miss dance class.

Sending their love and support for me and the team.

The hardest part to all of this, is that the children LOVE the classes and we the teachers LOVE teaching them. But we can’t make it happen atm.

This is what breaks my heart as I know how much fun our little groovers are missing each week!

In times like this I look to nature for some reflection and perspective.

Look at this little guy. So curious and cute! Reminds me of our little toddlers.

So with all that is going on for the CDandM team. We would all like to send back some love and smiles with this cute little guy.
