What happens when two friends—one, a seasoned event professional and educator and the other, a self-employed graphic designer/writer—put their heads and ideas together with the purpose of creating a better way to teach event management in Australia? College of Event Management, that’s what.

To all the beautiful people who joined our Team along the way and put their absolute heart and soul into the job. THANKYOU. You know who you are.

Kasy used to work from one pay packet to the next. She knew there should be more to a working life…like passion and fulfillment.

She didn’t know much about event management so completed our Event Foundation short course which gave her an understanding of the workings of the event management world. That experience sparked that special ‘something’ that she knew she had to pursue. That goal was one definitely worth shooting for.

She's now working as a professional Event Coordinator!

"Starting with CoEM in 2020, during a pandemic, it was hard to predict whether studying event management would be worth it.

Throughout the whole Diploma, the guidance and support shown by all College of Event Management leaders and teachers and all the little life lessons learnt along the way (learning to trust my own judgement) are the major things I've taken away from my experience with the college.

Everything I have learnt has helped me get to the next stages of my career and not even two months after graduating I am a week of starting my first position as an Event Assistant!"

Meet Georgie, one of our newest batch of Diploma graduates. Her life has changed dramatically in the last 12 months, personally and professionally. Her reason for making so many heady changes is one of the loveliest we’ve ever heard:
