Wiggles and Giggles Wentworthville Child Care Centre

Wiggles and Giggles Centre is a privately owned, long day care centre located at Wentworthville. Our programme follows the Early Years Learning Framework.

We emphasis on planning individually and in collaboration with families in designing our programme. Our environments are important to us emphasizing on natural and engaging play spaces. We have two large outdoor play areas and engaging indoor play spaces which are challenging and aesthetically beautiful spaces. The aim of our staff, management and families is to provide opportunities for children to develop basic concepts, language, social skills, inter personal skills, physical, cognitive skills and an understanding of the world around them all in a fun and loving environment.

✈️🇮🇹 ELLA – LET’S LEARN ITALIAN! 🇮🇹✈️

A new language, a new adventure! 🌍✨

After 10 wonderful weeks exploring Mexico 🇲🇽, our little travellers have said ¡Adiós! to Mexico and boarded their next flight… ✈️

NEXT STOP: ITALY! 🇮🇹

During their time in Mexico, the children immersed themselves in the Mexican culture, language, food, music and traditions, creating so many wonderful learning experiences along the way. 🌮🎶🌵

Now, our travellers have boarded a flight to Italy, where they will spend the next 10 weeks exploring all things Italian! 🍕🍝🎶

And of course, no flight is complete without an in-flight snack! ✈️😋 The children enjoyed delicious cheesy arancini balls as they travelled to their new destination. 🇮🇹🧀

Throughout our Italian adventure, the children will discover:

🇮🇹 Italian language & everyday phrases
🍕 Italian food & cooking
🎶 Italian music
🏛️ Italian culture & traditions
🎨 Art, stories & creative experiences
🌍 And so much more!

Most importantly, the children will have the opportunity to hear, practise and use a new language through meaningful and playful experiences.

Our bags are packed, our passports are ready and our Italian adventure has officially begun! ✈️🇮🇹

✈️🇮🇹 CIAO, ITALIA! 🇮🇹🍕

As part of our ELLA Program, we said “Adiós” to Mexico 🇲🇽 and “Ciao!” to Italy 🇮🇹 as we boarded our very own flight to Rome! ✈️

The children climbed aboard, ready for their Italian adventure, and were surprised with an immersive outdoor pizza-making experience! 🍕👩‍🍳

With a delicious variety of toppings to choose from, the children created their own pizzas while exploring new flavours, making choices and developing their confidence and independence.

The Italian adventure continued as the children experimented with our pasta machine, discovering how pasta is made and enjoying hands-on sensory learning. 🍝

From Mexico to Italy, our ELLA journey continues to inspire curiosity, imagination and a love of languages and cultures! 🌎❤️

🧁🌿 Mud Cupcakes!

Today, our outdoor Mud Kitchen was transformed into a mud cupcake bakery! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Children filled their cupcake liners with soil and got creative making their very own mud cupcakes. They carefully decorated their creations using a beautiful collection of loose natural and sensory materials, including pine cones, flowers, gum nuts, sprinkles, coloured rice and pasta.

This hands-on experience encouraged children to explore imaginative play, creativity and sensory learning, while developing fine motor skills as they scooped, poured, mixed and decorated.

The mud cupcakes looked almost good enough to eat! 🧁🤎

🍲🌿 Friday Soup Kitchen!

Our mud kitchen was transformed into a Soup Kitchen today! 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳✨

With fresh ingredients like 🍊 oranges, 🍅 tomatoes, 🌿 celery, fragrant herbs, flowers 🌸 and colourful water 💧, the children explored a world of sensory and imaginative play.

They mixed, poured, scooped and stirred as they created their very own “soups”, using their imagination and working together with friends. 🥄🍲💚

A fun-filled experience supporting sensory exploration, creativity, language, fine motor skills and social connection.

🌿✨ A perfect way to finish the week!

💛 R U OK? DAY 💛

Today, we took some time to pause, connect and check in with our feelings as a community. 🌼

During morning drop-off, our families interacted with our R U OK? check-in table, sharing how they were feeling and starting meaningful conversations about wellbeing. 💬💛

Our children also joined in by choosing an emotion that reflected how they were feeling, helping them recognise, name and express their emotions in a fun and meaningful way. 😊😢😡🥰

It was a beautiful reminder that checking in doesn’t have to be complicated, sometimes a simple “Are you okay?” can make a big difference.

Thank you to our wonderful families and children for helping us spread kindness, connection and care throughout our community. 🌻💛

What a fantastic afternoon we had celebrating all of our amazing dads, grandfathers and special father figures at our Tradie-Themed Father’s Day Afternoon Tea! 👷‍♂️🦺🔨

Our little Wiggles and Giggles crew were busy celebrating alongside their favourite people, sharing plenty of laughs, delicious treats and special memories. 🚧💙

Thank you to all of the wonderful families who joined us this afternoon and helped make our Father’s Day celebration such a special one.

🌟EDUCATORS DAY 2026

Yesterdsy we celebrated the incredible educators who bring so much love, patience, dedication and joy to our centre every single day. ✨️

To celebrate our amazing team, we enjoyed a little Sip & Paint experience 🎨🥂 a chance to step away from our busy routines, slow down, have a laugh and simply enjoy each other’s company.

Seeing our educators smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves was exactly what we hoped for. 🥹💕

🔴 👃Red Nose Day ❤️

Today our little ones got into the spirit of Red Nose Day by wearing RED and showing their support for this important cause! ❤️👃

We came together to help raise awareness about safe sleeping and support the important work of Red Nose Australia. 🌟

It was lovely to see our centre filled with so much red as our children took part in this meaningful day. ❤️

🚌💛 A Special Adventure for Our Preschoolers!

Today, our Preschool children visited our partner centre, for the Bravehearts’ Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Program. 🐾✨

Through fun, engaging activities and age-appropriate discussions, the children explored important messages about personal safety, trusted adults, body safety and speaking up. 🛡️💬
