๐ค Twenty-five students. One stage. Countless ideas.
Last Wednesday, our annual Public Speaking Night showcased the confidence, creativity and communication skills of our students. From thought-provoking topics to polished delivery, the standard was exceptionally high and reflected the hard work that had gone into preparing each speech.
A special thank you to Ms Jane Magao for her guidance and mentorship, and to the many students, families and staff who came along to support our speakers.

Nearly 300 students from Kindergarten to Year 11 took part in this yearโs Instrumental Competition, showcasing their talents across Piano, Wind & Brass, Strings and Percussion categories. ๐น๐ป๐บ๐ฅ
After a series of preliminary rounds, the finalists took to the stage this week, performing with remarkable skill, musicality and confidence. We were also honoured to welcome internationally acclaimed pianist as adjudicator for the finals.
As one of the key pillars of a Reddam education, the performing arts encourage students to pursue excellence, creativity and self-expression. The talent on display was a testament to the dedication and passion of our young musicians.
๐ Congratulations to all students who participated and to those who earned a place in the finals.

From choral and string performances to ballet, solo musical items and dramatic storytelling, each assembly reflected the incredible breadth of creativity within our school community while giving students the opportunity to develop confidence, stage presence and their voice through performance.
Congratulations to all students involved, as well as the student crews, staff and support teams who helped bring the assemblies to life. โค๏ธ

๐๏ธAustraliaโs Biggest Morning Tea โ๏ธ
On Thursday, students from across all year groups came together for Australiaโs Biggest Morning Tea, raising over $500 for cancer research and support services.
A huge congratulations to our Charity Portfolio, led by Year 11 student Cadence Cheng, for organising a bake sale in support of such a meaningful cause. From baking and fundraising to simply showing up, it was inspiring to see students and staff across the school unite in support of families affected by cancer.
Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to better treatments, greater support, and hope for those affected by cancer. We are incredibly proud of everyone who contributed to making the day so special. ๐

๐๐ฌ From octopuses to sea urchins, our Year 11 Biology students spent the day exploring the incredible biodiversity of Long Reef Aquatic Reserve during their ecological field study.
Guided by Mrs Lowery and Ms Lansley, students investigated the abiotic and biotic factors influencing life on the rocky shore platform through transects, quadrat sampling and water testing, while gaining firsthand insight into ecosystem dynamics and species adaptation.
Blessed with perfect weather, the excursion was an engaging and memorable opportunity to bring classroom learning to life in one of Sydneyโs most beautiful coastal environments. ๐ฟ๐๐ชธ
