What are you committed to?
Commitment drives behaviour. So what are you committed to… what behaviours are you displaying?
If I was to flip this to myself, what am I committed to in terms of my physical mental, emotional, spiritual, professional and financial growth to name a few... I do wonder… What behaviours do I display to show my commitment to these areas of my growth? For example, one of my growth areas is to become physically strong. So for me to show my commitment to this growth area, the behaviour I need to demonstrate or show is that I am taking the steps to get stronger, which could mean, I am training to get physically strong or I have a coach that supports me in getting stronger. For me, I have a four-day week training program that supports me in getting stronger and I thrive doing these 4 days in a week.
The same principles apply to any areas of growth you are looking at.
CONTEMPLATE: So, what are you committed to? Are your behaviours aligned with your commitment?
DOING AND BEING: Observe your behaviours, are they in alignment with what you are committed to? If not, what behaviours do you need to start, stop, or do less or more of to show your commitment?

Regaining Focus when the Mind Wanders for Productivity
In our humanness, it is inherent that our minds will wander... regardless of stress, anxiety, and so far. And in fact, research shows the mind wanders 50% of our waking moments (University of Miami). The WANDERING MIND is EVER PRESENT. And, contradicting popular belief, mindfulness doesn’t cause all thoughts to stop.
Mindfulness can help and support you in stabilising and directing your mind, which comes in handy and useful, especially in moments when you may feel stressed, distracted, or overwhelmed. Focused-attention practice can help you learn to direct your full, undivided attention to a single object of focus, in this case, you can turn to your breath as a single point of focus... experience breathing.

👉 Your [FREE GUIDE] on 3 Real Reasons for Busyness and What to do about it!
Over the last few weeks, I've had the opportunity to bring together over 50 senior leaders to create connections and collaboration, help build capability in strong and courageous leadership, and establish a well-functioning group. Oh, what a buzz it was kicking this off!
Ironically, many of the senior leaders there stated that time was a barrier for them, their focus was on the technical side of their role... working in the business. Strategic thinking... long-term planning... working on the business wasn't even in their mind's eye.
With these insights, I've developed an [GUIDE] on 3 Real Reasons for Busyness and What to do about it!

What got you here will not get you there!
I think at times, including myself... I/we forget that we are on a journey of development whether it's in our personal or professional lives.
To get unstuck from our current way of being and doing (A) to move to (B) we need to get a little messy, a little uncomfortable. essentially do something different... break patterns that are no longer working, change behaviours that no longer serve us in our growth... this is growth...
Question to you from me:
1. What patterns or behaviours do you need to shift to take you from (A) to (B)?
2. What action(s) do you need to take?

The power of rest and retreat when feeling meh! Personal reflections (raw and unedited)
In the last month or so I have been feeling like I needed to retreat more, needed to bring some more rest into my life. Rest to overcome the busyness of life. Everyone is busy with work, family relationships, whatever that may look like for you.
My inner calling was to slow down… rest… retreat… essential to do less to do more. On reflection my self-care practices had dropped, energy levels were swaying, and my natural state of calm and equanimity was getting a hit… it was truly uncomfortable, my performance was impacted, and relationships swayed (it showed up in many ways not fully wanting to engage in life, sense of overwhelm, fear, self-care declined like training, connecting with nature, not eating well. Does this resonate for anyone??)
Something had to give, something had to change. It was up to me to make the change!
It was time to rest!
I’m listened to my inner calling, resting, and retreating where I can. It is genuinely supporting me to low down, helping create white space to reflect, on what truly matters to me, really honing into my values, what balance looks like and means for me, where essentially, I want to focus my energy.
As an introvert I have realised I need to create white space for me to rest, the power of rest is non-negotiable. The power of rest helps me to be more effective in life (or is it really happiness that drives this?!). For me, it’s the balance of solitude and deep connection with others. The balance of paradoxes we are faced with…
As I write this… I’m still in the mode of rest… I’m here to learn… I am so so a work in progress…
My final thoughts: The power of rest creates space that enables us to return to our true nature… true nature of happiness, bliss… this is where our potential lies!

🔱 MAHASHIVRATRI - THE GREAT NIGHT OF SHIVA!
A NIGHT OF AWAKENING?! 🔱
👉 Today marks the 4th night of the dark fortnight in the month of Phalgun in the Vedic calendar (that falls in February/March) is known as MahaShivaRatri or the Great Night of Shiva. Celebrated by many all over the world.
👉 So what does Shiva mean? Shiva is means pure consciousness, awareness, the divine masculine.
👉 Ancient Rishis and Sages using Vedic astrology noticed a planetary shift in the northern hemisphere, that bought about an upsurge of energy.
👉 Energy in the Vedic tradition is known as Shakti, also known as the life force, kundalini and the divine feminine. When there is an upsurge of energy that unites with Shiv, there is an awakening state, a state of Oneness.
👉 According to the legend of Lord Shiva and Maa Shakti, today marks the day when Lord Shiva married Maa Shakti as Parvati - emphasis on Sacred Union... Oneness. No separation between Consciousness and Nature.
👉 It’s a great opportunity to embrace the natural surge of energy, to awaken your own inner consciousness and become one with yourself.
👉Here are a few things you can do to embrace this energy tonight:
✅ Meditate - Keeping the spine erect - allow the kundalini energy to rise from the root chakra to the crown and beyond 🧘🏽♀️
✅ Observe fasting - detoxifying your body, mind and spirit 🧘🏽🧠
✅ Stay up, sing ... bhajan... kirtan... mantra practice, japa mala (repeating) of ‘Aum Namaḥ Śivāya’ and/or dance the night away 🙏 🎶 💃 📿
👉 What will you be doing to tap into the energy? Comment below 👇
Aum Namaḥ Śivāya 🙏✨

Gently reminder…
Take a moment to mindfully breathe in… breathe in vitality… the PRANA… the QI… the virtual life force…
Gently pausing…
Now mindfully allowing yourself to breathe out… surrendering… letting go of what you no longer need…

GATEWAY TO GRACE
Take a moment to close your eyes...
Intentionally drawing your awareness to your heart...
Maybe placing your hands over your heart...
Gently feeling into your heart...
Soften your heart...
Dropping into to the heart space...
Resting your awareness to hear the whispers of Grace...
