A group of sisters, together with The Business Club for Muslim women in Business is organising a fund raising event for our brothers and sistes in Palestine.

This fundraiser is a little different

This isn't just any fundraiser. It’s an opportunity to improve emotional well-being and foster connection with Allah SWT, your family and community at large.

We all have been affected by the gravity of events occurring in Palestine.

We struggle with our mental well-being and parenting. We feel isolated in our pain living in the West.

What's included on the day:

>>>Coaching Sessions: Immerse yourself in empowering coaching sessions led by experts to bring you close to Allah SWT. Get help in connecting with and supporting your children during this challenging time.

>>>Interactive Workshops: Participate in hands-on workshops to foster well-being. From mindfulness practices such as Quran journaling to self-care techniques of breathing exercises, you'll leave with a toolkit for a healthier, more resilient self.

>>>Community Connection: Forge meaningful connections with your Muslim sisters. Share stories, support one another, and be part of a global Ummah community that comes together to honour our brothers and sisters in Gaza for the sake of Allah SWT.

Jazak Allahu Khayran to those sisters who filled in the Business Club survey. It was so super reading your responses. Your contributions and feedback will help shape the activities for 2020 bi'ithnillah.

Here's a summary of what the sisters responded with:
* The most popular reason for attending The Business Club meetings is to learn from guest speakers and connect with other sisters in business.
* Monthly meetings are still preferred (over fortnightly or bi-monthly meetings)
* The most preferred time of the meeting is: firstly, Tuesday between 10 am and 12 pm, Monday evening from 7 pm and thirdly, Monday between 10 am and 12 pm.
* Face-to-face meetings are preferred however, some sisters prefer the option of attending online for those sister who live outside of Sydney.
* The most common topic that sisters would like to learn more about is marketing.
* As for events, diverse number of events were selected including events with guest speakers (like the brunch held late last year).

The one thing from the results that got me by surprise is the selections for the preferred meeting times. From the top three selections, two preferred times were during the day. Those who completed the survey still preferred Monday nights for the meetings.

Alhamdulillah, as I said earlier, these results will help shape the events for 2020.
