Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Villawood

Year 4 travelled to Kamay (Botany Bay) to explore the story of Aboriginal peoples and First Contact through a range of engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

To celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, our students created a beautiful collage filled with moving phrases that reflect the profound love of Jesus. Parents and students then came together to sign the finished artwork, creating a meaningful symbol of our shared faith and community spirit.

What a fantastic Sacred Heart Feast Day! ❤️✨ We had the absolute best time celebrating together as a community. Here’s a quick look at our highlights:

🙏 Mass & Milestones: Father George led a beautiful Mass where we officially launched our new Vision and Mission. We also said a heartfelt, bittersweet farewell to the wonderful Mrs. Tax—you will be dearly missed!

🧺 Family Picnic: The weather held out perfectly for us! It was so wonderful to see our families sharing lunch, smiles, and great company on the green.

🎨 Bookmark Competition: Our students blew us away with their creativity! They designed bookmarks inspired by our new vision, and we can’t wait to see which lucky design will be professionally printed as a lasting keepsake.

We are absolutely thrilled to officially launch our revised Vision and Mission! Formally introduced by Father George during our Sacred Heart Feast Day Mass, this new roadmap will guide our heart, our spirit, and our growth for years to come.
