Okay, you might not be a millionaire by tomorrow (or maybe you already are 👑 BUT you could make it your mission in however many Christmases time that you will be! Consider this a Christmas gift for your future self.

This simple table shows you how simple it is with compound interest- if you give yourself as much time as possible! Time IN the market, not TIMING the market. No matter when you're starting, the time is NOW!
And before you say where do you get 8,% return from this is industry standard for an S+P or ASX index fund.

“BUY IT FOR LIFE” (BIFL) is a concept that involves investing in durable and high-quality items that last for many years, rather than buying cheap products that need to be replaced frequently. While this approach has its own pros and cons, it’s worth considering when making purchases.

👉 Some brands are known for producing BIFL products, such as Yeti, Birkenstock, Patagonia, and Le Creuset.

👉 In times of economic crisis, the idea of BIFL may seem like a foreign concept. However, it can be a useful way of thinking to avoid impulse buying and purchasing low-quality furniture or clothes that fall apart quickly. Instead, you might choose to save up for a higher quality version that will last longer.

👉 What do you think? Are you a buy-for-lifer? What items do you think are worth buying for life? Or what’s something you’ve had for ages that was totally worth it?

The start of a new year is the perfect time to embrace small but meaningful changes!

💖 Gratitude jar: Each week, jot down something wonderful that happened. By New Year’s Eve, you’ll have a jar full of joy to look back on.

💸 2025 savings challenge: Save a little more each week and watch your money grow. Whether you treat yourself or invest, it’ll be worth it.

🏡 12/12/12 declutter method: Find 12 items to toss, 12 to donate, and 12 to return to their rightful place. A tidy space = a tidy mind.

Sometimes the smallest habits create the biggest shifts. Let’s make 2025 your most amazing year yet

We can learn alot from millionaires about building our own wealth 💎
While their stories may vary, there are some things that they mostly have in common!

👉 They make money through compound interest - investing for the long-term and earning interest upon interest.

👉 Your money habits are really important. If you blow away $10 on something unnecessary, you could easily blow away $100 right?!

👉 Who you choose to be your partner can make or break your money situation so make sure you commit to someone who supports you, not takes from you or they will pull you back from your millionaire mission.

👉 You hear this over and over again for a reason: you've got nothing if you're not in a healthy body. Look after yourself and take preventative action so you can avoid serious illness later in life.

👉 Millionaires live well below their means and avoid lifestyle inflation so they can invest more of their income rather than spending it. They often spend money on things with long-term value instead of temporary pleasure and status symbols like luxury items.

👉 Millionaires have a lot of similar traits such as a positive attitude and ability to cultivate a mindset of abundance, rather than scarcity.

👉 Millionaires look at the big costs like mortgage and major expenses, instead of fixating on coffees and buying lunch at work. There's merit in looking at small savings of course in building good money habits and achieving financial goals, but the millionaire recipe is to focus on the BIG expenses for BIG impact on your net worth.

👉 There's always an opportunity cost - it could be your time, your money, your energy, your happiness, your relationships etc. Millionaires know this and weight it all up before committing to anything in the interest of making money.

👉 Most millionaires are entrepeneurs (that haven't inherited their wealth) so instead of working for other people, think about how you could put yourself in the driving seat and start your own business!

👉 Millionaires don't live beyond their means by racking up credit card debt. They are focussed on the future and making money, not spending money they don't have yet and wasting it paying high interest on debt.
