Hey everyone there is yet again another important announcement‼️‼️

For those of you who are new, at the start of every semester there is an Orientation Day a week before students resume back into the uni life. On WED 24th JULY 2019 Stratty is holding an O'Day for Mid Semester starters and we as a society get the chance to participate in this event 🙂

We plan to promote the society as usual at these social events but more importantly it gives all previous and new members a chance to volunteer and be part of the working society building closer friendships/bonds while interacting and working as a team to advocate our society to new students in hopes of gaining their interest to join the society 😁

Our next event is-
Orientation Day: WED 24th JULY 2019
Time: starts 9am-2pm
Location: Stratty campus

Benefits 😎
All members who volunteered and participated in OD SEM 1 2019 received a certificate of appreciation + gift card from the uni for being a part of an event (LOOKS GREAT ON THE RESUME 😉).
But more importantly, those who volunteered and gave a helping hand in the event, managed to build closer friendships with the current and new members :) a win-win situation!

This orientation is aimed towards mid semester starters and it gives the society a great chance to register new members who also share the same interest in the k culture.

We had:
- Awesome merchandise displays from some of our members showcasing their $$$ merch collections (e.g light sticks, albums, posters, plushies etc)

- Mini-games for OD students to participate in and get the chance to win 1 out of 3 major prices and additional small prices (e.g several albums, face-mask, cute k stationary etc)

and many more : )

If you are interested in participating and being a part of something a little bit bigger than just a member DM the page and we'll get things going! We will reply ASAP to volunteers✅

Hey all‼️‼️‼️
So, the society is looking for candidates who are interested in training to taking up a leadership role within the society’s exec team with or without prior experience.

The role will give you a chance to experience extra-curricular activity involvement that look great on your resume 😉

But always remember that a student’s social life is just as important as your academic life hence why the current exec members chose and showed interest in the positions. It has been a great learning experience for all of us since this is a newly approved society for 2k19. So, we are learning about new things just as you will be too.

Roles offering for training:
- Vice president (candidates interested; Joseph)
- Treasurer

Don’t fret or feel intimidated by the positions because our friendly exec group will teach and guide you into the role ready for action.

Things you’ll gain:
- Better time management skills
- Learn new and useful skills
- Sense of commitment
- Sense of responsibility
- Closer bonds with members

If you’ve been a part of school leadership programs this is a great time to showcase yourself at a tertiary level 😀
If you have not before, this is also your chance to really be involved and show initiation and passion towards something such as your interest of the Korean culture!

Don’t be shy and give it a try, you won’t know whether you’ll be good or excellent until you’ve given it a fair go!🥳

So if you are interested and willing to give it a go, Dm us!
