🍪 Little Chefs at Work! 🐳

Yesterday, our Blue Whales preschool group had a fantastic, hands-on baking day for our celebration R U Okay day! We made special butter cookies from scratch.

Our little bakers used:

Plain flour

Butter

Vanilla essence

Yellow food colouring 💛

Soft icing sugar

The children had so much fun measuring ingredients, pouring them into the bowl, and rolling out the dough to make their cookies. It was a wonderful, fun-filled experience for everyone! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 learning

🏆 Teamwork in Action! 🏆

Today, our children took on a fun new challenge! They worked together to pick up a ball and place it on top of an empty cup.

The twist? No fingers allowed! They had to cooperate and use only cups to move the ball. 🤝⚽

Why this experience is so great for our little learners:
✨ Teamwork & Communication: They learned to talk to each other and share ideas to reach a common goal.
🧠 Problem-Solving: Moving a ball without using hands forces them to think outside the box and try new strategies.
🎯 Motor Skills & Focus: Balancing the ball using only cups takes amazing hand-eye coordination and patience!

We are so proud of how well they supported one another today! ❤️

Today we celebrated Father’s Day with our families! Our Chef Norma spoiled our families with a beautiful Father’s Day Afternoon Tea. It was great to see families enjoying food and laughter! Happy Father’s Day to all amazing fathers!

Today, our children created beautiful portraits of their educators using colourful markers. It was heartwarming to see them remember, observe, and celebrate the special people who care for and inspire them every day. 🌈✨
