For the past couple of weeks, our Nido seven hills children explored the seven hills plaza with great excitement and interest! As we prepared for excursion with different groups of children on different days, , we discussed the steps we needed to take, such as using the toilet before we leave, applying sunscreen, and putting on hats and safety vests. We also discussed the importance of staying safe, being patient, holding a friend's hand as support, not touching the decorations in the plaza and last but not the least, enjoying the experience together.

Our first stop was Santa’s mailbox, where the children posted the letters they had been working on throughout the week.

Then we made our way through the plaza, passing shops with colourful Christmas decorations for sale.

When we reached the reindeer pen, the children were excited to see the special safety fence and meet Rocky and Max. The children observed the large container of food and water and the space where the reindeer could move or rest. After a short conversation, a look around, and a couple of photos, we said goodbye and continued our journey.

Our next stop was an estate agency, where we picked up colouring sheets that featured Christmas pictures, such as Santa Claus, stockings, and stars.

We then walked to the “Kindness Wall” displayed in the shopping mall. Some children found pictures they had coloured earlier in our classroom that are now displayed on the wall. We sat together on a bench and spent some time admiring the display of artwork.

Finally, we made our way back to the classroom, with the children helping to guide our route

Here in our Seven Hills Nido, for the last couple of weeks, we have been going on excursions with children from different rooms to visit and explore our Seven Hills plaza, the Christmas decorations and last but not the least, the two reindeers, Rocky and Max!
With great excitement, our children enjoyed watching the two reindeers and in addition, all the Christmas decorations, window shopping various shops for the elves and Santa, visiting the kindness canvas wall and finally even the fish market!
In addition, our children also did not forget to post their special letters to Santa in the special post box!
