Spring is in bloom🌻

Spring means - Veggie and herb garden time!

This is a great time to get the kiddies out in nature. Here are some favourites we have found for little hands

🫶Soft plants like carrot tops or coriander for soothing tactile play
🌿Fragrant herbs like thyme, mint, and rosemary for calming and invigorating scents
🌷Colourful edible flowers and varied leaves for visual interest
🍓Tasty herbs, berries, and veggies for experimenting with flavour

This week is National Child Protection Week.

This year’s theme, 'Every Conversation Matters, Shifting Conversation to Action', reminds us that while conversations can spark ideas, build understanding and encourage reflection, meaningful change happens when we turn those conversations into action.
By listening, sharing ideas, supporting families and strengthening our communities, we can all take practical steps to help prevent harm and create safer environments for children.
Together, we can help build communities where every child feels heard, valued, safe and supported. 💛

Our team is always up for a challenge, bringing energy, creativity, and passion to make a difference in the lives of children and families.

This year, for Educators' Day, we embraced an Eco Dress-Up Challenge to showcase our commitment to caring for our land. Using materials from around us, we demonstrated how creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand. The theme, "The Future Begins With Us," reflects the important role we play as early childhood educators in shaping a better future for children.

Team, you amazed us with your creativity, enthusiasm, and willingness to go above and beyond. It was wonderful to see everyone having fun while embracing such a meaningful challenge.

Happy Educators' Day to the amazing team at Blacktown Road! Thank you for your patience, passion, dedication, and the positive difference you make every day.

📚Celebrating the Joy of Reading During Book Week!📚

What a wonderful week we had! Our children and educators came together to celebrate the magic of books, bringing stories to life through creativity, learning, and lots of fun. It was wonderful to see so many amazing costumes and smiling faces throughout the week.

A special thank you to Karen, our CEO, for taking the time to visit and read to our children. Your visit made our Book Week celebrations even more memorable and inspired our young readers to continue their love of books and learning.

📚✨ What an exciting Transition to School experience! ✨📚

A big thank you to Shelley Public School for inviting our preschool children to join their Book Week Parade. We are so grateful for the opportunity to take part in this special event and parade alongside the school students.

Our preschoolers did an amazing job and represented our centre with confidence, enthusiasm and big smiles. We are so proud of them!
