The Premier's Reading Challenge is almost closing, with just two days remaining!
We encourage all families to log in to the PRC website and ensure that any books your child has been reading are recorded before the challenge closes.
A huge congratulations to the students who have already successfully completed the challenge this year. Your commitment to reading is something to be very proud of!

✨ What a magical Book Week at St Patrick’s! ✨

This year's theme, Symphony of Stories, came to life through an incredible display of creativity and imagination.
From The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Masked Reader to our Book Parade, Book Fruit Break and Jim Jam Workshop, the week was filled with creativity, imagination and a shared love of reading.
It was wonderful to see our students proudly bringing their favourite book characters to life and our families joining in the celebrations.
A special thank you to our staff for embracing the fun and to Belinda Wickham for her leadership in creating such a memorable week for everyone.

Indigenous Literacy Day (ILD) is a national celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories, cultures and languages created by the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
Last Wednesday we acknowledged Indigenous Literacy Day by swapping classes for the afternoon. Teachers read an Indigenous story and students were involved in a 'yarn' about the Country the story comes from and the significance of the story.

𝗞 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆🎤

Thank you to Kindergarten Green, who, confidently took the stage last Friday at assembly! Thank you for sharing all you have learnt in Kindergarten so far and how wonderful your celebrations were at your 100 days of Kindy party 🥳

We appreciate you taking us on a beautiful journey to celebrate the Feast Day of Australia's first saint, Saint Mary MacKillop. Mary MacKillop, was an extraordinary woman, who dedicated her life to educating the poor and marginalised, establishing schools and charitable works across the country in places where no one else would go. 🩵

Thank you, Kindy teachers for preparing the children.
