A shout out for all the dads out there, as I wanted to wish you a happy Father’s Day.

This photo is me with my amazing and awesome dad back in the 80’s (what I would call the good old days). I know I am handsome right 😊

My dad is a champion and has always been a fabulous role model, mentor and businessman. He started Ganton Shirts literally 45 years ago and many of you reading this would have worn or still own a Ganton Shirt (because they do last for years). And they are still around believe it or not www.ganton.com.au

I remember when I was around 7 years of age, around the same time he was ‘coaching’ the under 7’s local soccer club (he had no idea what he was doing, but it was fun, and my Dad was a ‘coach’), so I was super proud. Anyways…I remember we were talking about my birthday present at the time which was going to be a set of Walkie Talkies.

So, he was explaining to me the concept of spending a little bit more money on something and typically (not always, but mostly) you would get a superior and better quality product. This stuck with me my whole life and I have always gone for the quality products because they simply last longer.

Dad…thanks for being such a generous and fine gentleman and thanks for all the tips and guidance over the years. I love you.
