Strings Alive Academy builds firm technical foundation and all round musicianship, through individual and ensemble training. We prepare students for school scholarships, entry exams, HSC music performance preparation, AMEB syllabus exams and Eisteddfod competitions as well as other major competitions. Anita has worked as a freelance violist with a variety of ensembles including the Sydney Sinfonia Orchestra, the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra and the Tasmanian Symphony
Orchestra. Anita has taught both viola and violin and has tutored at the Pan Pacific Music Camps, MLC Burwood and at St. Andrew Wilson - Head of Cello/Bass
An experienced session musician, Andrew has performed for many
film and television soundtracks, advertisements and albums in a wide variety of genres. Andrew has taught privately and at several top Sydney schools including Ascham and Knox Grammar School. He has also tutored chamber music and orchestral studies at these and other schools and institutions.
