"It’s NAIDOC Week! 🎨✨

This year’s national theme is ‘50 Years of Deadly’, marking five decades of NAIDOC Week and celebrating the Elders, leaders and communities who’ve carried it forward.

In our centre this week, children are exploring culture and the wisdom of our elders through stories, art and conversation, gentle, age-appropriate ways to build understanding, respect and connection to Country and its people.

It’s a privilege to share these moments with the children and our special elders from ❤️💛🖤

❄️✨ Winter Week Fun at Papilio Early Learning Epping! ✨❄️

This week at Papilio Early Learning Epping, we are celebrating Winter Week with exciting hands-on experiences. Today, our little explorers made their very own fake snow! ⛄️

The children loved mixing, squishing, and scooping the snow, engaging in sensory play that sparked curiosity and imagination. Sensory experiences like this help build fine motor skills, encourage creativity, and support social connections as children share and discover together.

It was wonderful to see everyone working as a team, feeling the “snow” between their fingers, and learning about the magic of winter—even when it doesn’t snow outside!

✨ Show and Tell Time! ✨

As a part of our Lifelong Learning Curriculum, our little learners gathered for a Show and Tell session, sharing all the wonderful things they did with their families over the weekend. 🏡💬

From trips to the park and baking yummy treats to visiting grandparents and exploring new places, each child proudly spoke about their adventures. 🌿🍰✨

Show and Tell is such a meaningful experience that helps children build confidence, develop language skills, and learn to listen to their friends. It’s also a beautiful way for everyone to feel included and connected, as each story celebrates the unique experiences and cultures that make our classroom community so special. 🌏❤️

We love seeing their eyes light up as they talk about the people and moments that make them feel happy and loved.
