The 2 study essentials I use EVERY exam season 👇🏽🧠🔥

A 20 minute walk and 1 blank page. Here’s exactly how to use them ⬇️💯

1. The Blank Page

Before your walk, write out EVERYTHING you remember from the lesson on one blank page. Don’t look at your notes!

Anything you can’t write down is a gap. Circle it. Now you know exactly what to study 🧠

2. The Walk

Exercise releases BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor), which makes your brain more receptive to learning!

Think about your gaps while you walk so you sit down knowing exactly what to fix 🔥

3. The BDNF Window

Your thinking capacity peaks about 15 to 30 minutes after moderate cardio!

Sit down inside that window and study your gaps. You’re not starting from scratch, you’re filling gaps 💯

Try it tonight. A blank page is free 👩🏽‍🎓

6 Rules for Highly Effective Parents👇

1. Your kid is never in trouble for telling the truth about a mark

2. A code word. “D” for drowning, and you sit down with them that night.

3. Talk about how to study before the internet does.

4. Your face matters when they show you a bad mark.

5. Invite them to the grown-up table when a plan is needed.

6. Stop paying for tutoring before they know how to learn.

A tutor fixes this week’s homework. A kid who learns how to learn fixes every subject they’ll ever take (and it’s a super valuable life skill)

You’ve been studying WRONG your whole life👇🏽🧠👩🏽‍🎓

Use my easy 5-step S.C.O.R.E method to discover which student type YOU are so you can finally study smart and score higher without working harder ⬇️💯

S - Sprinter

You cram everything the night before and rely on pure adrenaline to get you through! Sprinters can score well short-term but forget almost everything within days, which is why your marks never match your effort. The fix is small daily sessions that lock knowledge in for good 🧠

C - Copier

You rewrite your notes over and over and it FEELS productive, but copying is passive learning and your brain switches off! Copiers spend the most hours studying out of any type yet see the smallest results, and once you swap copying for active recall your marks jump fast👩🏽‍🎓

O - Overthinker

You spend more time making the perfect study plan, colour-coding folders and organising notes than actually studying! Overthinkers feel busy all the time but stay stuck in preparation mode, so learning to start messy is the one shift that changes everything ❤️

R - Repeater

You reread and highlight the same pages again and again because it feels like it’s working! Repeaters fall for the illusion of mastery, where everything looks familiar until the exam asks you to actually retrieve it. Testing yourself BEFORE you feel ready is the proven fix 💯

E - Escaper

You avoid studying until the pressure becomes unbearable, then panic! Escapers aren’t lazy, they’re overwhelmed because no one ever taught them HOW to study. Once you have a system that works, starting stops being scary and your grades climb on their own 🏆

I helped Mia (year 11) discover she was a Repeater and she went from C’s to straight A’s in one term!

Back in highschool I was a failure…

When I was 16 the only thing I wanted was to become an engineer and make $100k a year.

That was the entire plan.

Get the degree,

Get the grad job,

Get the salary that finally proved I wasn’t the kid who cried on his bed over a 60% essay.

And I would have done it too.

But the more students I sat down with, the more I realised the thing that actually changed my life had nothing to do with aerospace engineering,

it was the set of skills I taught myself after I hit rock bottom in high school,

the ones that took me from failing to first in 3 subjects, straight A’s, and a scholarship into aerospace engineering and physics,

I call them Smart Skills.

They’re the skills school never taught you like…

how to actually learn, how to remember what you read, how to think clearly, how to get twice as much done in half the time.

So I made a decision that everyone around me thought was insane,

and instead of chasing money I went all in on fixing the education system that nearly broke me.

And it’s been the best decision I have ever made.

Since then Smart Skills have helped me
🏆 Teach 61,247+ students across 67 countries the way school never taught them,

❤️ Build a 178k+ community here and 287k+ over on TikTok,
💯 And turn the limiting beliefs of “I’m just not a smart person” into first-in-class results for students all over the world who’d already given up on themselves.

But here’s the part that actually matters for you.

Every single student is 1 of 10 Student archetypes without ever realising it,

and the one you’re running is the biggest factor deciding whether school feels impossible or effortless,

most people run the wrong one for years and never find out.

So I built you a free 3-minute Smart Student Scorecard that tells you exactly which student archetype you are,

It’s 21 questions and it gives you your Smart Score out of 100, and the one skill to fix first.

You need to be extreme to get what you want

02/05/2026

They told you to give up, don’t

The voice in your head saying “you can’t do this” isn’t yours,

and every person who’s ever built a life worth admiring heard the exact same voice on the way up,

because doubt isn’t the sign to quit,

it’s the proof you’re standing at the door

→ Being extreme is the entry fee

If you want something 99% of people will never have, you have to do what 99% of people will never do,

→ The doubt is the obstacle

Every “you can’t” is a tax the average person pays the obsessed person,

so let them keep their standard opinions, and you keep your extreme standards,

→ Decide once

Tired you, scared you, doubtful you, none of them get a vote,

because the version of you that’s becoming great already signed the contract,

I went from failing 60s to top student in less than a few months and the one thing that helped the most was changing what voice I listened to,

You’re closer than you think.

save this if your exam is tomorrow

most students cram wrong, panic at 11pm, and walk into the exam unprepared,

read this and execute the opposite👇

I went from the 60s in year 9 to a 98.25 ATAR, came first in three subjects, and earned a scholarship to study aerospace engineering by changing nothing except how I studied

so if it’s the night before, and you feel lost or scared, don’t fear the pressure,

step into it and do this 👇

audit your weaknesses first, because every hour spent on what you half-know is an hour stolen from what could lift your mark

cheat sheets next, because squeezing a topic onto one page forces your brain to pick what matters — and picking is what makes it stick

blank page recall, because reading notes is just recognition, and tomorrow’s exam is a blank page too — so train tonight the way you’ll be tested

practice paper under the clock, because exam pressure is a skill, and if you’ve never felt it, you freeze when the clock starts

error log before bed, because the wrong answers tonight are the ones your brain wants to hide from, and the ones you face tonight stick tomorrow

then sleep, because sleep is when your brain files everything you learned skip it, and the whole night unwinds

this isn’t cramming, this is engineered cramming, and there is a difference

Back in high school, I pulled all-nighters and still failing.

I’d sit at my desk past midnight, eyes burning, rereading the same chapter for the fifth time, telling myself if I just pushed harder it would finally click.

I tried every study hack on the internet, highlighting, rewriting notes, flashcards until my hand cramped.

Nothing worked.

I’ll never forget the night I worked on an essay for a whole year, handed it in, got it back with a 60% scrawled across the front, and sat on my bedroom floor in tears because I genuinely believed I was broken.

If you’ve ever stared at a textbook at 2am wondering if you’re just not built for this, I promise you, you are. You’re not lazy and you’re not stupid. You’ve just never been taught how learning actually works.

Studying harder isn’t the answer, studying smarter is. And the moment I stopped grinding and started using three specific skills, everything flipped.

1️⃣ The Feynman Technique. This helped me learn even the hardest concepts quickly. Instead of rereading notes, I started explaining every concept out loud as if I were teaching a 10-year-old, and the gaps in my understanding lit up instantly.

2️⃣ Time Boxing. Use Parkinson’s law to your advantage, I gave every task a fixed time like 17 minutes to complete a maths homework task, because if you give a task 3 weeks to finish it, it takes 3 weeks. But if you give it 1 day it takes one day. Set aggressive time boxes.

3️⃣ The Memory Palace. I anchored facts to vivid mental locations, and what I used to forget in 24 hours I now remembered for months.

These 3 skills alone took me from a kid who thought he was stupid to ranking first in three subjects, scoring a 98.25 ATAR, and earning aerospace engineering on a scholarship, with MORE free time, not less.

These are Smart Skills, and they’ve helped me teach 61,247+ students across 67+ countries how to actually learn.

You were never the problem. The way you were taught to study was.
