๐ก 5 Habits I practice to avoid COLDS & FLUS ๐ก
1๏ธโฃ EAT WELL
โก๏ธ Vegetables (esp. green), fruits, and lean protein
โก๏ธ Vitamin C, D, Zinc, Echinacea, and Probiotics can help create immune system barriers
โก๏ธ Aim to limit sugar especially in coffee, alcohol, and takeaway foods
โก๏ธ Stay hydrated
2๏ธโฃ EXERCISE
โก๏ธ Get Outside and Walk! Aim for 30-60 min daily walking or Cardio activities
โก๏ธ Aim to weight train 3x30 min per week
โก๏ธ Stretch after exercise and training
3๏ธโฃ REST & RECOVERY
โก๏ธ Sleep (7-8 hrs) aim for 9/10pm onwards
