This week's DIY light box activity has been a huge success! Paired with the transparent wooden shapes the learning opportunities are endless! The light box is a great learning tool that enhance and develop the children's fine motor development, hand and eye coordination, colour recognition and shape recognition 💡🔴🟥🕵️♀️

Did you know that manipulating magnetic letters provide opportunities for hands-on learning which is much more suited for the way young children learn rather than using workbooks and flash cards. This week the children have shown a particular interest in the magnetic boards and letters. While engaging in this activity, the children have been looking at the letters and asking for them to be labelled. Some of our older children have been able to identify the letter that their name begins with.🧲🔤
