One of our students undertaking her workplacement for CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services. A great opportunity working with the Westcare Team. Thanks to Westcare for supporting our students and teaching them so many great things about the industry!

We’d say that Mia our new Work Placement Student had an interesting first day, as she:
⚡️Became the first person to unlock our new WestCare HQ office in the Warami Community Centre
⚡️Delivered 50 activity books and 30 toys for siblings of babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care and the Birthing Unit at Nepean Hospital
⚡️Delivered some fabulous Father’s Day gift packs to the Indigenous Closing The Gap team in Werrington
⚡️Packed food hampers for two front line worker referrals
⚡️Inspected the retail operations of our Kingswood Op Shop
⚡️Visited our 1000 Safe Sleeps DV crisis accommodation units
All in a day’s work!
