Social Competitions are back at NCIE! We are excited to be launching our Social Oz Tag competition, first kick off Friday 23rd October running to 4th December.

For U12 Mixed, U15 Mixed and Open Mixed teams - so get your crew together now. Teams or 8 at a minimum, 16 maximum. One fee for the team (not individual players!).

Rest in peace Tony Mundine.

Yesterday we lost a legend.

It’s been so sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Tony Mundine. He was an absolute legend and left a lasting impact on so many around Redfern, and beyond.

Our condolences go out to the whole family. Please take care of each other during this tough time ❤️🙏🏿

A month on from our Redfern Community NAIDOC Festival and we’re just so grateful.

The courts were full, the food was flowing and the whole place was buzzing. It was so special having our Elders and the young mob, and everyone in between - all in one place celebrating! Even when it threatened to rain on our parade (literally), community still showed up with their family, friends and the energy 🔥

Thank you everyone who made the day so amazing. See you next year! ❤️💛🖤💙🤍💚✨

At NCIE, we’re all about creating a safe space for movement, for every person who walks through our doors. But today, we’re especially grateful for the chance to celebrate and support our deadly kids. And we’re so thankful for the energy, joy and heart they bring to our centre and our community.

Watching these young ones build strength, confidence and connection alongside their mentors is what it’s all about. We’re proud to add a little more knowledge to their fitness journey. Because movement isn’t just about the body, it’s about wellbeing and building positive habits, while having a whole lot of fun along the way 🙂‍↕️

To all the jarjum: keep shining, little legends. We see you and we’re so proud of you 🫶🏿

Farewell Mark 🥲 after 12 years with us, Mark is hanging up his calculator and heading into retirement.

One of our OG crew, the comedic relief hire, and the guy who’d cheerfully help wherever help was needed - from programs van services to NAIDOC festival bump ins, all while making sure payday never missed a beat. We’ll miss you Mark. Enjoy the next chapter! 🌅👴🏻🎉🕺🏼

RnB Breakfast is back again 🙂‍↕️❤️‍🔥 next Saturday 25th July we go again. Back to the base where it all started.

From 7:30am DJ DEF ROK the local is on the decks, while we cook up a hot BBQ breakfast while you’re smashing the sessions.

Redfern, get ready — we have OVER 40 incredible stalls joining us at our Redfern Community NAIDOC Festival next Friday and we are so excited to welcome every single one of them!

From deadly Indigenous businesses, yummy food vendors and community organisations to services and employment opportunities, there is something for absolutely everyone. Come through, support mob, connect with your community and discover what’s on offer right here in Redfern. 🖤💛❤️💙🤍💚
