🎶 Symphonic Fusion: An Orient-West Musical Connection 🌏🎵
On 10th November, the Sydney Meya Conservatory of Chinese Music and MELOPHILE MUSIC co-hosted an unforgettable evening at St Leonards, Sydney. Nearly 300 attendees were treated to a stunning blend of Eastern and Western cultures through music.
The talented artists delivered 14 classic pieces, including Ode to the Yellow River, Libertango, and 10,000 Reasons. The collaboration of traditional Chinese instruments—dizi, yangqin, p**a, erhu, and ruan—with Western instruments like the piano and guitar highlighted the harmonious beauty of both musical traditions.
This concert was not just a musical collaboration but a vibrant cultural exchange.
Since 2015, Sydney Meya Conservatory has been committed to promoting Chinese folk music globally, showcasing its unique charm and fostering cross-cultural connections.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this extraordinary celebration of unity through music! 🎼✨
