Our ethics classes in public schools are unique - children develop the essential skills to think carefully, listen with mutual respect and weigh the evidence before making their decisions. And it’s all powered by expertly trained volunteers. Volunteers who can continue to develop their skills with our classroom support team mentors.

We absolutely LOVE getting out into the community and meeting people face-to-face!
Here are a few snapshots from the Liverpool Volunteering Expo Liverpool City Council Australia , where Primary Ethics hosted a table.
Featured here are our COO, Laura Ramos, and our amazing area manager, , who spent the day connecting with people and sharing the impact of volunteering with Primary Ethics.
We’ve heard there was plenty of interest and an impressive list of sign-ups.

Every Thursday, Miranda , our volunteer ethics teacher in NSW's North coast, teaches a Year 2 class. She enjoys helping her students explore big questions through thoughtful discussion and ethical inquiry.
As with any lively classroom, she says discussions sometimes get a little energetic, but that curiosity and enthusiasm are exactly what make these lessons so rewarding. Ethical conversations aren’t just valuable for children — they remind all of us to reflect on why we believe what we do.
Thanks for sharing Miranda!

A few days ago, we held a small panel event to discuss how ethics education might counteract the increasing polarisation we see in the world around us.
Ethics teachers Jonty Claypole and Osher Günsberg, former Minister for Education Verity Firth, plus Michelle Lim of our Engagement Committee, had a conversation that was both light-hearted and serious, sharing experiences and practical insights from the worlds of media, politics, business – and of course, ethics education.
