🐣 the children have been busy getting creative as part of our Hatching Program! 🐥
Using playdough, loose parts, and feathers, the children designed and created their very own chickens and ducks.
The children were excited to share their creations and talk about the features of chickens and ducks, making meaningful connections to our hatching journey.
We love seeing their curiosity and enthusiasm grow as they learn more about the life cycle of these small animals through play based learning!

🐣🦆 Our Hatch and Grow Program has been an incredible experience for our children!
The excitement has been contagious as the children eagerly watched our chicks and ducklings hatch and grow before their eyes. This hands-on learning opportunity has sparked so much curiosity, wonder, and conversation throughout the centre.
Both the children and educators have loved spending time with our fluffy new friends, enjoying plenty of gentle cuddles and learning about their care and development. Seeing the joy and amazement on the children's faces has been truly special.

We are thrilled to share that one of our little chicks has already hatched! 🐤
Over the coming days, we'll be keeping a close eye on the remaining eggs and can't wait to welcome more fluffy arrivals. This hands-on learning experience provides wonderful opportunities for the children to explore life cycles, responsibility, care, and wonder as they observe nature up close.
Stay tuned for more updates and adorable photos as our Hatch & Grow journey continues! 💛🐣🦆

During Reconciliation Week, our centre proudly participated in the Sea of Hearts movement. ❤️
The children and staff worked together to create their own beautiful hearts while engaging in meaningful conversations about the importance of reconciliation, respect, and building strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect, learn, and show our commitment to walking together towards a more united future.

Today we participated in Simultaneous Storytime! 📚✨
Our educators and children came together to enjoy a special shared reading experience, exploring the wonderful story together through discussion, laughter, and imagination. 💛
The children loved engaging with the book, joining in with the story, and extending their learning through conversations and activities inspired by the text. Experiences like these help foster a love of literacy, language, and learning from an early age. 🌟
What a beautiful way to celebrate the joy of reading together! 📖
