Today in our Sunshine Room, creativity was flowing as our little artists brought the ocean to life 🌊🐟
Our children had so much fun painting colourful fish and placing them into their very own ocean scene. From bright stripes to bold splashes of blue, each masterpiece was unique and full of imagination. This experience encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and plenty of joyful expression as the children explored colours and textures.
It was wonderful to see their excitement as their artwork came together, turning simple brushstrokes into a vibrant underwater world. We love watching their confidence grow as they create, explore, and learn through play 💙

Last night, our educators took part in a valuable professional learning experience, continuing our commitment to growing and strengthening our practice in the early childhood sector.
We had the opportunity to engage with Anthony Semann, whose insights encouraged us to reflect deeply on our role as educators and the impact we have on children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
Through meaningful discussions and shared perspectives, our team explored new ideas, challenged thinking, and expanded our understanding of contemporary early childhood practices. Opportunities like this allow us to stay inspired, informed, and connected to best practice.
We look forward to bringing this knowledge back into our learning environments, ensuring we continue to provide high-quality, thoughtful, and intentional experiences for all children. 🌱

Our Sky Room has come alive with creativity, sustainability, and imagination! 🌿🦕
Using recycled cardboard boxes, our children worked collaboratively to design and build their very own dinosaur world. Inspired by their interests and ideas, they transformed simple materials into an exciting landscape filled with volcanoes, mountains, and lush prehistoric plants.
Each child contributed their own thoughts about what belongs in a dinosaur habitat, sparking meaningful conversations and shared decision-making. From constructing towering volcanoes to shaping textured mountains and creating greenery, the process encouraged problem-solving, teamwork, and creative expression.
This experience not only supported the children’s understanding of the world around them but also highlighted the importance of sustainability—showing how everyday materials can be reused in purposeful and imaginative ways.
The Sky Room is now a vibrant dinosaur area, built by the children, for the children—where their ideas truly take shape! 🌏✨
