Child Protection Week at Get Set Grow ELC

This Child Protection Week, we were very excited to welcome Constable Gabrielle from Auburn Police Station to Get Set Grow ELC! 👮‍♀️🌟

Constable Gabrielle spent time with our children talking about Stranger Danger and learning important ways to stay safe. The children learned about recognising unsafe situations, staying close to trusted adults, and knowing who they can go to for help.

It was a wonderful and engaging learning experience that helped our children build confidence and develop important safety awareness in an age-appropriate way.

A big thank you to Constable Gabrielle and Auburn Police Station for visiting our centre and sharing such an important message with our children.

Together, we can help our children be safe, be confident and know who they can trust.

Today, our centre came together with our children, families and educators to recognise R U OK? Day.

R U OK? Day is a beautiful reminder that a simple “Are you OK?” can make a big difference. 💛

We loved seeing everyone come together, wearing yellow, sharing smiles and spreading kindness, care and connection throughout our centre. 🌻

During Dental Week, our children took part in fun and engaging activities to learn important dental health knowledge!

The children discovered why our teeth are important, how to brush their teeth correctly, which foods help keep their teeth strong and healthy, and why limiting sugary foods and drinking plenty of water supports good oral health.

Through games, discussions, and hands-on experiences, our children developed positive dental habits and learned how to care for their smiles while having lots of fun!

🌙✨ Pyjama Week at Get Set Grow! 🌙

What a cosy and fun week we’ve had celebrating Pyjama Week! 🎉 Our children and educators enjoyed coming to the centre in their favourite pyjamas, sharing lots of smiles, laughter and special moments together.

From cosy cuddles to playful learning experiences, our centre was filled with the sweetest bedtime vibes! 🌟

NAIDOC WEEK 2026

At Get Set Grow Early Learning Centre, our children have been celebrating NAIDOC Week through hands-on sensory play, exploring natural materials, creative experiences, and learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

These experiences encourage curiosity, respect, and a deeper understanding of connection to Country, culture, and community.
