Trade the library for the treetops and join ADSOC for a day above the ground at Treetops Adventure 🌳☀️ From suspended bridges and swinging obstacles to adrenaline-pumping ziplines, this is your chance to unleash your inner monkey and swing into adventure 🐒⚡

Whether you’re a fearless climber or touching a ropes course for the very first time, there’s a course for everyone. Expect shaky legs, questionable coordination, elite photo ops 📸 and memories that’ll last longer than your weekly motivation to study 📚😵‍💫

So grab your friends, lace up your sneakers and prepare to touch grass in the most extreme way possible 🌳🔥

Adventure has no bounds!

This year, Adventure Society is running the Adventure Equity Fund (AEF) again for our Ski Trip, aimed at making our events more accessible and reducing financial barriers for students who may otherwise be unable to attend.

Successful applicants may receive financial support to subsidise the cost of attending the trip. While we hope to support as many students as possible, funding is limited and will be awarded to selected applicants based on the application process.

All relevant information regarding the application process, including eligibility, required documentation, and personal statement requirements, can be found in the application form.

🚵🌲 ADSOC GOES: Hanging Rock Trail Biking🌄🔥

Looking to touch grass, send trails, and pretend cardio is fun? Join ADSOC for a beginner-friendly mountain biking adventure through the Blue Mountains!

⏰ TIME: All-Day, 21st June

📍 WHERE: Blackheath, NSW

We’ll be meeting in Blackheath before heading out to ride around Hanging Rock and explore a few scenic trails in the area.

🚲 DETAILS:

• Beginner-friendly ride, no experience needed!

• Bikes + helmets provided

• Ride through beautiful bush trails and lookout areas

• Great chance to meet people and try something new

• Bring water, snacks, and clothes you don’t mind getting dusty

⚠️This activity will involve extended durations of physical activity. You must be able to ride a bicycle.

On May 10th, ADSOC is heading to Royal Randwick Racecourse 🐎 once again for the Wings for Life World Run 2026 a global event where the goal is simple… DON’T. GET. CAUGHT!🏃‍♂️💨

🌍 Everyone around the world starts running at the same time
🚗 There’s no finish line, just a Catcher Car that starts chasing you after 30 minutes

🏕️🌄 ADSOC Goes - Little Wobby to Wondabyne Overnight Hike 🌌🥾

Looking for some exploration? Join us for a 2-day, overnight hiking and camping adventure in the Brisbane Water National Park!

⏰ TIME: The event will run from 9:00am on 27 May to 3:00pm on 28 May.

📍 WHERE: Brisbane Water National Park

👣 DETAILS:

14km Hike from Little Wobby to Mt Wondabyne

Lookout at Mt Wondabyne

Camping at Mt Wondabyne

Hike back in the morning (11km)

Waterfall at Kariong Brook Falls

💸 PRICING: Free

Due to the difficulty level of the track, some hiking experience is required and you’ll need to supply and carry all your own equipment and food. The weather will drop down to temps close to 8°C, so you will need to have suitable clothes/ sleeping bag.
