Starting off with family portraits, our little learners have been so excited to show their families pictures they created. YAY FOR SCIENCE !!🧪🧑‍🔬🙌🏼

We participated in science week & what a week of enhancing curiosity it was! With incursions from a real scientist to our very own experiments, it was a messy, hands on week for everyone. Science allows children to problem solve, critically think, lead to an interest of discovery along with fostering their love for learning. I think we might have discovered a few of our very own Einsteins 🧫🥼

EXCURSIONS ✨

Excursions are an integral part of a children's program. They build valuable links between the service and the community. Linking excursions and visits to other experiences for children reinforces children's learning outcomes and strengthens their connections of their community.

Our preschool class went on an excursion and done an amazing job at collecting rubbish from our local community for week ♻️. Don't forget to put your rubbish in the bin 🗑️

YOGA 🧘 Our daily practice of yoga offers our children development across physical, emotional & mental learning. Children can improve their emotional regulation and reduce anxiety. It boosts children's self esteem, develops strength and flexibility. Concentration and memory... and not to forget lots of fun ✨

What a busy first half of the year we've had here at Alexandria. From excursions to incursions, family events, cultural celebrations & welcoming our new beehive to the garden. 🐝 Can't wait to see what the next 6 months hold... stay tuned✨ &LAlex
